Balloon Ghost Hat

This is an easy one; just want to make a little bit more fun for the Halloween!

1, Three balloons. You can choose any colour you want, but I think white or clear once are better. I used black 260 balloon for the hat base, and one white 260 for the head of the ghost and one white 160 for its body. If you can find a small rounded white to make a head, it will look better. I just chose something handy.

2, To inflate the 160 white all the way full, let go a little of air before you tie the knot. The size of 260 white was made no more than an egg, paint it whit a maker. Even a ghost wants a beautiful face, please be kind. Sorry, the rest of the balloon has to be cut off. Now let make fold the 160 white to half, and do a candy twist for the body. I tried a several times for the candy twist, hope you can do better. Attach the 260 head to the body. One nine thing about balloon modelling is when you do it, you really can make any changes you like. So, if you don’t like the way the ghost head, body or hands look like, do what ever you prefer, let your creativity shine!!!

3, Do I need to tell you how to make the base of the hat? All right J Inflate the black 260 all the way full, measure the size of one’s head for the circle you are going to make, a small bubble need to be made to twist on and secure the circle. I am sure you can do it anyway.

4, Attach the Ghost on the top of black 260; big or small, please make sure nothing is obstructing the ghost’s mobility. Then put it on the head J

Happy Halloween!!!

How to make a Balloon Pumpkin Watch

Ok, let’s do the Balloon Pumpkin Watch

1. Two balloons needed - one orange and one green. Inflate the orange one half way. I chose the size 160 modelling balloons, because they are slimmer, so the pumpkins will look better for children’s wrists.

2. Make five or six equal sized small sausage twists, and then turn them into pinch twists. It does take some practice to make this perfect for beginners like myself; my long nails certainly did not help to make twisting easier... When the bubbles become tighter and tighter, you just feel any one could pop any time. Don’t worry, even it does, just keep practicing. Well, the orange colour in this size does seem easier to burst than other colours, I am not the only one who says so.

3. Make a small bubble at the end and cut off the rest.

4. Inflate two inches of green balloon to make a cluster of little bubbles. Attach them onto the top of the orange balloon. A small amount air was left in the green, and squeezed to the end. It is easy to put on the wrist this way.

That’s all, hope you like it!
